How Does the Subaru Share the Love Event Work?
Subaru is on its seventh year of our Share the Love event, where we use your business to donate to charity. By the end of this year, we'll have donated $50 million to charity, one new Subaru at a time. All you have to do is choose a charity when you purchase or lease your new Subaru, and we'll donate $250 to that organization to benefit your community. Subaru Pacific is proud to highlight Heal the Bay and Grades of Green, two charities that will lead to a cleaner, greener future for the area surrounding Torrance.
Heal the Bay
Subaru Pacific is located within a few miles of Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, and Redondo Beach, so protecting the ocean and our shores is a huge priority. That's why we're partnered with Heal the Bay, whose mission is "making southern California's coastal waters and watersheds, including Santa Monica Bay, safe, healthy, and clean." To meet that goal, they use science, education, community action, and advocacy. That includes raising awareness, but it also involves practical solutions to prevent pollution for a more sustainable future.
Grades of Green
The founders of Grades of Green believe that environmental protection should be "second nature" in young minds. That's why four moms at Grand View Elementary in Manhattan Beach launched the program in 2009. Grades of Green became a non-profit and launched its website on Earth Day 2010. Since then, participation has grown to over 170,000 students from more than 260 schools. With your support, Grades of Green can continue offering helpful activities to young students, and help the next generation grow with a more conscientious approach to planet Earth.
