At Subaru Pacific, we know we wouldn’t be successful without our community. We’re proud to sponsor local good causes and fun events, including the South Bay Surf Series! This surfing competition series is for youngsters and veterans alike and is open to first-time competitors and long-time challengers. The South Bay Surf Series comprises six contests hosted by the South Bay Boardriders Club in Manhattan Beach, CA.

With seven divisions for children and five for adults, it’s easy for every surfer to find a group that fits their skill level. All participants get a t-shirt and free lunch with other goodies, while winners receive great prizes. The six events in the South Bay Surf Series are:

ELPORTO SURF SHOP – Surf Series Contest – Feb 11, 2023 - El Porto

WAVE RAVE LOS ANGELES – Surf Series Contest – Mar 18, 2023 - El Porto

WATERMAN'S BAR & RESTAURANT – April 22, 2023 - Hermosa Beach (Same Day as Surf Fest)

SPYDER – May 13, 2023 - Manhattan Beach Pier

To enter any of these contests, simply use the South Bay Boardriders website, or drop off an entry form in person. You can enter all contests up until 11:45 pm PST the Wednesday before the event. Pricing is $40 for club members and $50 for non-club members, and each additional division you enter is an extra $20. See here for complete details.
